The Enchanted Fair is a book where a family receives a very special invitation to join many others for the opening of the Enchanted Fair of the Arabic Letters! The whole family attends and enjoys a day of fun rides, funny animals, memorable rhymes, and snacks, while learning how to recognize the Arabic alphabet. Come join the fun!

This book combines Arabic phonics with English vocabulary only. This unique approach helps ease the English-speaking readers into learning how to read a new language. This book only covers Arabic letters in their isolated form. Letter transformations will be covered in a subsequent book.

Vision behind the book:
Reading a book in a language that you are not fluent in can be an experience that is both exhilarating and intimidating at the same time. Two of the biggest challenges are differentiating between similar-looking letters and remembering the sounds of all the letters. This book takes all the stress out of those challenges by using an age-old memory tool called storytelling.
This book tells a nice little story about each letter of the alphabet based on the shape of the letter; each story creates a memory association between the letter shape and its sound. There are supporting animals next to each letter to illustrate the sound further. For convenience, summary boxes are at the bottom of each page for quick reference. In addition, the book offers self-quiz questions and matching worksheets at the back to further reinforce these phonics and memory associations.
The goal is that when the reader comes across the letter, he/she can recall which fair attraction the book compared it to, its story, and its sound. To make this goal possible, just enjoy the enchanting story, fun rhymes, and eye-catching illustrations enough times. Your mind will do the rest.
